Meet Team Denmark
Great Danes Aiming High in 2022
A rising European power in wheelchair rugby, Denmark are fresh off of their first Paralympic appearance in 2021. They’ll be looking to take another push forward at the Canada Cup ahead of hosting the 2022 World Wheelchair Rugby Championships in Vejle this October.
Team captain Leon Jorgenson will lead this improving Danish team alongside star Sebastien Fredriksen and heavy-hitting Mark Peters.
Watch out for Sofie Skoubo who is one of a growing group of women excelling in wheelchair rugby at the highest level.
