    • BC Wheelchair Sports

    • Since 1971, the BC Wheelchair Sports Association (BCWSA) has helped people with physical disabilities across the province lead active, healthy lives through wheelchair sports. We are committed to being a strong advocate for athletes with a disability and working to reduce barriers to participation.

BCWSA administers wheelchair rugby, wheelchair athletics (track and field) and wheelchair tennis. As an athlete progresses, we offer wheelchair loans and programs for beginners, juniors, recreational athletes and high-performance athletes.

BCWSA is proud to host wheelchair sport competitions from the recreational to the high performance level, including the Canada Cup Wheelchair Rugby Tournament and the Vancouver International Wheelchair Tennis Tournament.
